Our story

A quiet morning, a full table.

Portrait of hands rolling kimbap on a bamboo mat, early morning light, dark wood counter

The Kimbap Table began with a simple habit. Before every family gathering, someone would wake early, cook the rice, and roll kimbap while the house was still quiet. By the time guests arrived, the platter was on the table, and the day could begin.

We wanted to bring that morning to your home. Every order is rolled the day of delivery, never the night before. Rice that has been refrigerated turns hard; kimbap is at its best a few hours after it is made. So we cook early, deliver on time, and ask you not to refrigerate it.

We keep the presentation simple. Every roll is cut evenly, arranged by kind and packed in tiered boxes, so setting the table takes a minute. What you see is what is inside: the ingredients are listed on every platter, and we will always tell you exactly what we used.

We are a small kitchen in Northern Virginia. We take only a few orders each weekend, on purpose.
